We get your cake to you for the day and time slot you ordered it for, very rarely (it hasn't happened yet) there can be unforeseen circumstances which can prevent a delivery happening, like a vehicle breakdown, etc. We ask that someone is at home to accept delivery within the time slot you have chosen, as a second delivery attempt may not be made.
We only deliver at weekends, but you can pick up your order any day of the week.
To find out if there is a charge- choose the product you like and add to trolley. If you view the trolley, you will see on the left hand side, an option which says "Estimate Shipping and Taxes", if you click on this option, you will be able to see what the delivery charge is going to be, based on the delivery postcode.
Yes, we deliver cakes to London, however, there is of course a delivery charge associated with it.
We deliver or you can collect, options are at checkout. We also deliver and set up wedding cakes on Sundays.
We ask that someone should be available to receive the cake, as we cannot make a second delivery attempt. A second attempt at delivery will incur an extra charge which we will invoice you for. The second attempt will only be made after the charge is paid. You also have the option to collect in person.

Yes, we take great care in this. We check every ingredient to see whether it is free from alcohol and animal ingredients, including insect derivatives. We contact manufacturers of ingredients to find out the information.
Yes, we use dairy products and eggs, but no other animal products. You will see dietary information under each product description. Many other companies who claim to make vegetarian cakes use insect ingredients for example, glazing agents like shellac, or colours like carmine, or e120, or e904, we do not use these kinds of ingredients.
You can choose the egg-free (eggless) option when buying most of our cakes. Please note that we do use eggs in the production environment.
Yes, immediately after placing an order, call us within 1 hour of placing the order, if we don't answer the phone, then text us. If sourcing of ingredients and/or preparation work hasn't started on your order, then you will get a refund minus 5% admin charge of your total order.
We do not recommend this, as it is best eaten fresh.
We do, but only with our cakes, not on their own. If you purchase a stand hire without a cake, then you will be refunded, minus an administrative charge of 5%, so please do not hire a stand from us unless you buy a wedding or special occasion cake from us.
Fresh cream, buttercream, or cakes with cream cheese frosting will need to be kept in an airtight container below 5 degrees Celcius in the fridge. They should be taken out about an hour before serving. Any left over cake should be put back in the same way as above. Buttercream photo, or Fondant iced cakes should be kept in an airtight container in a cool place, but not the fridge. All cakes are best consumed on the same day for best taste and freshness.
This is a bug which has been reported to Paypal. A workaround is to use a different credit or debit card, or to create a paypal account. Failing all this, we can arrange a bank transfer.
As soon as you go through checkout, you will be presented with a page which confirms your order. If you miss this page, you will still receive a Paypal confirmation, and one from our store (check your "junk" folder...failing this, please email us as firstname.lastname@example.org or text the number on the contact us page.
Yes, PayPal deals with the payments, none of your credit/debit card, or bank details are disclosed to us at any time. We do not store your credit/debit card details as all payment made via PayPal.
