When going through the buying process, you will be given an option of delivery or collection, you will also be given options to pick your date and time slots for delivery or collection including a delivery charge if there is one. This will happen before payment. You will have the options of Morning or Afternoon. If you are collecting, you can choose your collection time slot throughout the day. We do deliver to a very wide area from Birmingham. Please note that we do charge for delivery if outside a certain distance (see the last question below)
Q. Which areas do you deliver cakes to?
A. We deliver to most areas in and around Birmingham, and many areas beyond. Places like Leicester, Northampton, Coventry, Nuneaton, Derby, Oldbury, Nottingham, Manchester, London, Peterborough, Scunthorpe, Lancashire and areas in between. If you do not see a delivery option at checkout, then we do not deliver to that area (in which case, you will see a "Pickup from store" option only...you are welcome to "pickup from store" if you wish). Please make sure you choose the correct Delivery or Pickup from store option at checkout.
Q. Why do you charge for delivery?
A. For many parts of Birmingham and some places beyond, delivery is free of charge. However, like any other company, we charge for delivery beyond a certain distance, however, we do not incorporate the delivery charge into our cake prices and then call it free delivery, as this misleads people. The further the delivery address is from us, the higher the delivery charge will be (see below for how to calculate delivery charge).
Q. What is your delivery charge?
A. If you go to a product page, add it to your basket and then go to "Cake Trolley", there on the left hand side, you will see an option which calculates your delivery charge based on your postcode. You do not have to buy the cake to see what the delivery charge is. If you see a "Pickup From Store.." option only, then that would mean we do not deliver to your area.
